Wicked raises money for the planting of over 5000 new trees by the Woodland Trust as part of annual WICKED DAY

Thanks to donations from Wicked fans from across the UK, over £8,500 has been raised in 2016 for the Woodland Trust to create new woods as part of the production’s annual WICKED DAY charitable fundraising activities. This year, the hit musical raised enough money to plant over 5,700 trees.

SEVENTH YEAR OF WICKED YOUNG WRITER AWARDS IN SUPPORT OF THE NATIONAL LITERACY TRUST

The Wicked Young Writer Awards, created and sponsored by the award-winning musical Wicked in association with the National Literacy Trust(www.literacytrust.org.uk), is pleased to announce that the acclaimed author and illustrator of the How to Train Your Dragon books, Cressida Cowell, will return as Head Judge for the awards for the third consecutive year. Jonathan Douglas, Director of the National Literacy Trust, will also be returning as part of the judging panel.
