A HUGELY ENTERTAINING SHOW!
WICKED has been packing them in since its West End premiere in 2006. Our Saturday night trip was no exception with long queues for tickets and a real buzz around the theatre, which is just a stone's throw from Victoria Station.
This smash hit musical tells the tale of the Witches of Oz and how they became friends at sorcery school. When a bright green baby was held up to the audience right at the start of the show we knew we were in for a treat!
Rachel Tucker as Elphaba has a stunning voice that soars from the stage and she puts her heart and soul into creating this sad, lonely creature who has been an outsider since the day she was born.
This is part love story, part makeover, part re-telling of one of our most famous tales and has some fabulous songs to go with it.
