Wicked Day is back!

Wicked Day 2009 A big THANK YOU to everybody who helped make WICKED Day 2009 such a roaring success… And helped raise thousands of pounds for Magic 105.4's Cash For Kids charity to build a community garden in an area of London!

Nearly double the capacity of last year's WICKED Day venue, on Sunday 1 November 2009 fans and families from across Britain packed-out the Lawrence Hall, Victoria and were greeted with a duet performance of 'For Good' by Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College Choir and members of the WICKED London cast!

With the day officially underway, the hall sprung to life with an array of activities and games based on this year’s theme of the Shiz Halloween Fair! Hook-A-Duck featured green and pink ducks made ESPECIALLY for the day, Tin Can Alley and Higher or Lower offered fans the chance to win EXCLUSIVE WICKED Day prizes…and a LUXURIOUS Galindafying Stall offered everything from manicures to face-painting!

The WICKED Day workshops once again proved one of the biggest hits of the day with everybody from five year-old monkey-wannabes to ex-Mayor of London Ken Livingstone taking part!

Winners of this year’s press conference competition truly had once-in-a-lifetime experiences as they posed their winning questions to a cast panel including Sam Kelly, Sarah Earnshaw and Alexia Khadime! CLICK HERE to watch highlights! Wicked Day 2009

Shortly after the excitement of the press conference, the main hall was set ablaze as the WICKED London cast took to the stage in spectacular fashion to perform a routine choreographed by the show's very own UK Dance Supervisor! CLICK HERE for highlights in the WICKED Day 2009 official video!

The afternoon was rounded off with the very special announcement of the Oz Garden competition winner whose design will be incorporated into the ACTUAL community garden! CLICK HERE to view the winning design!

WICKED Day is a fantastic free event full of family fun that gives everyone the opportunity to celebrate all things WICKED. CLICK HERE to discover more about how worldwide WICKED productions have come together to celebrate WICKED Day and do something ‘For Good’ in their communities.
