Winnie received a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award for Wicked. Other theatre work: the musical Birds of Paradise (with composer David Evans); One of Your Biggest Fans, Post-its (Notes on a Marriage) (both written with her husband, actor Paul Dooley) and Choice, which premiered at the Huntington Theatre in Boston. Holzman got her start writing for the groundbreaking TV drama thirtysomething and went on to create the series My So-Called Life which starred Claire Danes. She executive produced (with Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick) Once and Again, collaborated with her daughter Savannah Dooley on the ABC Family series Huge and, most recently, teamed with Cameron Crowe on the Showtime series Roadies. Film credits: ’Til There Was You. Also an actress, Ms. Holzman appeared in Jerry Maguire and as Larry’s wife’s therapist on Curb Your Enthusiasm. She is a graduate of Princeton University and the NYU Musical Theatre Program, and a member of the Dramatists Guild.
